We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin! The location is stunning – right by a peaceful lake, surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views. It felt very private and quiet, the perfect place to relax and recharge. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the sauna – using it in the evening and then cooling off by the lake was an unforgettable experience. We loved spending time outdoors, walking in the area, and enjoying coffee on the terrace while watching the sunset. Communication was excellent – they were kind, helpful, and made check-in and check-out very easy. We couldn’t have wished for a better stay. This place is a true gem, and we would love to come back. Our summer getaway at Lotta’s home in Applehult was pure Swedish countryside magic. The house itself felt warm and welcoming, with every corner filled with charm and thoughtful touches. Mornings began with birdsong and coffee on the porch, overlooking peaceful gardens, and evenings ended with golden sunsets that seemed to last forever. Lotta’s hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. She shared local tips, stories, and even a taste of true Swedish life. The surrounding nature was stunning – the serene lake perfect for a swim, forests to wander in, and the quiet beauty of rural Småland all around. It was the kind of holiday that leaves you rested, happy, and grateful – and already planning the next visit.

We truly enjoyed our stay — the house had everything we needed. Its location is unique, right in the middle of nature, with a beautiful, well-kept garden where you can spot wildlife directly from the terrace. During our stay, we saw wild boars, hares, deer, and badgers. The sauna was lovely, and our kids spent hours playing in the shed, which has a trampoline, ping pong table, darts, and more. We arrived with an electric car and were pleasantly surprised to find we could charge it at the house. Frederik was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend this place to nature lovers. We stayed here with our two boys (ages 3 and 5), and they loved it too. Just a five-minute drive from the house is a lovely swimming lake, which made our July stay even better as we could go for a swim anytime.

A lovely place to stay. Its beautifully located in an environmentally protected area and only a five minute walk to a quiet beach of lake Vänern. Its quiet and secluded. The kitchen is big and complete. The hosts, Eva and Jonas, are warm and welcoming. There are many things to do (beautiful hiking trailers) and sights to see such as Läckö Slott. I would surely love to come back.
