We had a lovely time at Amdal. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, they gave us helpful tips for our trips. The cabin is very cozy and well equipped and the view of the fjord is beautiful. A quiet, peaceful place in the middle of nature.

Very quiet and detached place. Excellent views. Friendly squirrels and birds. A lot of mushrooms and berries. Good boat. There are fishes in the lake and in the small river near the house. Very clear water. Friendly owners with good English. They have a house near the cottage, but actually don't live there. No Wi Fi. Electricity arrives from solar panel, so telephones must be charged in special place only. Bed is not very comfortable.

Lovely vacation home for a family. Really nice view and very quit environment. Nice welcome with refreshments and chips:-) if there is a lot of rain the way to the house will be a bit humid.

Very nice and cozy house. There were 5 of us there for a week and we felt very welcome. The view was beautiful and we can well imagine vacationing there again. The only drawback was the way to the house which was a bit difficult with a small child because a small piece went over stones and meadow.

Our time at the cabin was wonderful. It's a lovely home with lots of space. The views were outstanding! The house was furnished adequately with everything we needed. The in-floor heating was a real treat on cold mornings. The owner was very helpful and checked in on us two times. I can highly recommend this house of you want to relax and visit with sheep from the farm. It's not far from Flekkefjord which is a cute village on the water with good dining options and shopping. It's a bit longer to go to Stavanger but well worth the drive. I would go back if ever in the area!
